Expect Music, Good Times and FREE Darts all day.
On Sunday 15th November, The Boardroom will have been open for one whole year. We’re starting the celebrations early with an all-day birthday party on Saturday 14th November.
A year ago, we opened the doors at 71 Crouch Street with a simple idea: build the sort of darts venue we would want to play in ourselves.
Since then, thousands of darts have been thrown, plenty of doubles have been missed and an incredible community has grown around the boards.
To every regular, first-timer, Academy player, parent, league team, visiting player, birthday group and customer who has supported us, thank you.
You’ve recommended us, returned week after week and helped turn The Boardroom into Colchester’s home of darts. We genuinely could not have done it without you.
Now it’s time to celebrate.
We’ve got a full day of darts, challenges, prizes, food and music planned.
We’ll be running a short, quick-fire competition with free entry and £50 for the winner.
Full timings and the competition format will be announced shortly.
Think you can take out the big finish?
Record the highest checkout of the challenge and you’ll win a £50 voucher to spend in The Boardroom pro shop.
You’ll have nine darts to hit our birthday target score, which will be revealed on the day.
Two hours of free lane hire for four people will be up for grabs.
There will be food available, a DJ keeping the room moving and a fridge stocked with beers and cold drinks.
Legion Darts Academy will run as usual from 10am to midday, with the birthday celebrations continuing throughout the day.
There will be no lengthy speeches or ceremonial ribbon cutting. Just proper darts, good food, cold drinks, music and the people who helped make our first year possible.
Bring your darts, bring your mates and come celebrate one brilliant year at The Boardroom.
